    Packetalk allows you to choose a phone number from any location in the US, regardless of where your Packetalk phone will be physically located.
       

    Local Number Portability:

    Packetalk may be able to transfer your existing phone number.

    If Packetalk offers phone numbers in a location near where you live,you may be able to keep your existing phone number if you switch to Packetalk.

    How To Transfer Your Number To PACKETALK

    1. Fill out the Packetalk Authorization Form
    2. Fill out your name, address, and number from your exisiting
      phone bill
    3. Print the Adobe PDF, sign it and fax it and the phone bill to the number listed on your form. The transfer will take between 10-30 days once we receive your paperwork.
    NOTE: PLEASE DO NOT CANCEL YOUR SERVICE WHILE PACKETALK TRANSFERS YOUR NUMBER. IF YOU CANCEL YOUR SERVICE BEFORE THE TRANSFER IS COMPLETE YOU MAY LOSE YOUR NUMBER!

     

    During the transfer process:

    PACKETALK will assign you a temporary number that you can use for both incoming and outgoing calls. When your number is transferred, we'll inform you via email and your number will be transferred.

    If your number cannot be transferred:

    If PACKETALK cannot transfer your number you may elect to get a new number in your area or another location. Or you may elect to keep your existing phone number with and add another PACKETALK number.

     

    PACKETALK GUARANTEE:
    Try the PACKETALK service risk-free. If you are not satisfied for any reason, you may cancel the service within 30 days of activation and receive a full refund. To cancel your service, send us an e-mail or call and you’ll receive an RMA # (Return Merchandise Authorization Number).

    Terms of our Money Back Guarantee:
    Simply cancel your service through your PACKETALK Account on our web site, e-mail billing@packetalk.net or call (212) 400-3730. You’ll receive an RMA# and detailed instructions on shipping your equipment back to us. The equipment must be in its original packing material, and must be in its original undamaged condition. If the se requirements are not met, we will be unable to process your request.

    In order to use the PACKETALK guarantee, you must cancel your service within 30 days of the activation of your account. Your outgoing calls must not exceed 500 minutes of use. You will be responsible for additional charges such as international calls and directory assistance.

    All returned equipment must be in the original packaging and all components must be included.

    When PACKETALK receives the equipment, and the conditions above have been met, you will receive a full refund of the service activation fee and first month’s subscription fee.

    You are responsible for return shipping. Please email billing@packetalk.net or call (212) 400-3730 to cancel your service and obtain an RMA #. Equipment returned without a valid return authorization number will not be eligible for the Money Back Guarantee.

     

    CANCELLATION TERMS:

  • To cancel PACKETALK service, you cannot not exceed 500 minutes of usage in the first 30 days of service.
  • You must cancel your service within 30 days of the activation of your account.
  • You must return ALL equipment within 14 days of your cancellation.
  • All returned equipment must be in the original packaging.
  • All equipment, manuals and registration card(s) must be included.
